The combined heat and power plant (CHP) in Klaipeda Free Economic Zone was the first project of this kind in Lithuania and all Baltic countries. The plant was commissioned in spring 2013. Ruukki's delivery included steel frame structure, sandwich panels and load-bearing sheets. Ruukki has strong experience in construction projects for the energy industry.
